With the Gulf chaos continuing to hurt airspaces across the region, Air India and its budget arm Air India Express on Friday announced its limited flight schedule to West Asia for Saturday (March 14).
The two carriers will operate 80 scheduled and 62 non-scheduled services to and from West Asia on March 14, the airline said in a statement.
The 80 scheduled services include flights to and from Jeddah and Muscat—Air India's 10 flights to and from Jeddah, and Air India Express' eight flights to and from Muscat.
The 80-flight figure also includes one Air India round-trip from Delhi—and two from Mumbai—to Jeddah, one Air India Express round-trip each from Kozhikode and Mangaluru to Jeddah, and one Air India Express round-trip each from Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode and Mumbai to Muscat.
The non-scheduled flights will be operated to and from the UAE and Saudi Arabia "subject to availability of slots" and other airspace conditions based on war developments.
"All Air India flights to and from North America, Europe, Australia and other regions continue to operate per schedule, the airline said in the statement.
It added that those booked to travel on any of the routes where Air India's scheduled services remain temporarily suspended can rebook to a future date at no additional charge or opt for a full refund.
