Police have registered a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) case against the boys.
“These boys have committed sexual offences against the girl for the last seven to eight days. The parents of the girl have been working, and they used to be away during the day,” Shashikumar added.
The officer further said that the police will follow the necessary procedures under the POCSO Act and the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act.
According to preliminary information, two of the accused are high school students, while another boy is a school dropout.
Parents of the girl alleged that the boy threatened the girl, saying they have a video of the act.
