IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers said in a video message that the airline has restored its network coverage in 137 stations.

“Today's OTP is projected at around 75%, significantly up from 30% yesterday. The network coverage has been restored with 137 stations operated. Also for our customers, all processes around refunds, luggage, and rebooking are in full swing, and we're reducing the backlog as we go forward,” he said as quoted by ANI.

At least 456 IndiGo flights were cancelled across airports on Monday as operations at the airline continued facing disruptions.

At Delhi airport, 134 flights, which included 75 departures, were cancelled. In Bengaluru, 127 flights were reported cancelled.

About 71 cancellations were reported in Chennai, 77 in Hyderabad and 20 in Jammu.

Ahmedabad also saw 20 flight cancellations.

Other airports in Mumbai and Kolkata also reported disruptions. Five flights were cancelled at Thiruvananthapuram airport, including 3 departures. The airport also said that 3 departures were operated by IndiGo at the airport.

The airlines had reported that operations would stabilise by December 10.

Meanwhile, Air India has said that customers who booked tickets during a price surge in the transition period before the government put a cap on prices are entitled to a refund. “Guests who may have booked Air India flights in Economy Class during the transition period, at base fares above the prescribed caps, are entitled to refunds of the differential amounts," the notice said.

The airlines also announced that they are rolling out new prescribed fares across their systems.

For the past 7 days, IndiGo has been facing a serious operational crisis which left thousands of passengers stranded at airports after 4,500 flights were cancelled since last week on Tuesday.
