The National Nutritional Month will be celebrated from September 17 to October 16. The government said it will ensure full integration of Nutritional Month activities with the health campaign through its extensive network of Anganwadi Centres, mobilising women and adolescent girls.
The health ministry will lead the delivery of preventive, promotive, and curative services through health camps and health facilities across the nation, said the statement.
In Dhar, the prime minister will also transfer funds under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana directly into the bank accounts of eligible women across the country.
