A policeman in Gujarat was murdered by his wife, who later killed himself.
The policeman has been identified as Mukesh Parmar. The couple has a son.
“Today, under the Danilimda Police Station, the dead bodies of police constable Mukesh Parmar and his wife were found in their house. During the investigation, it was found that the police constable Mukesh worked in the Traffic Police,” news agency ANI quoted DCP Zone 6 Ravi Mohan Saini as saying, on Monday.
According to the DCP, the couple often fought over domestic issues.
“Today, they had a fight. There is a mark of injury behind Mukesh's head, and due to that, he died. His wife also committed suicide after that,” he said.
Their son, who is seven or eight years old, was present at the house during the incident.
“This is the preliminary report. FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) and the rest of the team are present at the spot, and the investigation is going on. The suicide note mentions household issues as the reason," he added.
