After the exit polls predicting a BJP victory in Madhya Pradesh, former MP Chief Minister and Congress leader Kamal Nath on Friday criticised the agencies and accused them of creating a "false atmosphere". Nath asserted that BJP would lose the MP assembly elections.

Some exit poll agencies wanted to put pressure on poll officers.

Taking to X, Nath said that Congress workers must ensure on impartial counting on Sunday.

"Some exit polls have been deliberately created so that Congress workers get disappointed...and put pressure on the officers by creating a false atmosphere. This conspiracy is not going to succeed," said Nath.

He also urged the Congress workers to get into the counting field with full force.

"We are all ready to win and are all united," Nath added. He also said that if there are any confusions or issues they (the party workers) are facing or spot, then approach him directly or inform the Pradesh Congress Committee office on Sunday.

Exit polls by many agencies including Dainik Bhaskar, Today's Chanakya, and Jan Ki Baat predicted a BJP win in MP polls.
