Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra on Tuesday shared pictures of the first floor of the Ram temple which is under construction in Ayodhya. The temple is expected to open doors for devotees by January next year.

The Ram Janmabhoomi Trust shared the pictures on micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter).

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had visited the site and reviewed the progress of the construction work on August 19. He also offered prayers to lord Ram Lalla.

In 2019, a five-judge bench of the Supreme Court ruled that the disputed land at Ayodhya must be given to a trust for construction of a Ram temple and ordered the Central government to formulate a scheme within three months. It also ordered that the Sunni Waqf Board must be given five acres of alternate land.

Following this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on August 5, 2020.
