While addressing party workers, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said that AAP's newly-acquired status of a national party in a short span of 10 years is “miraculous and incredible”.

All “anti-national forces” that want to halt the country's progress are against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), said Kejriwal.

Kejriwal also added the national party status brings with it a huge responsibility. He also told the volunteers to be prepared to go to jail. Those who are scared to go to jail to leave the party, he added.

He urged people to join the AAP in order to make India the number one country in the world.

"All anti-national forces that want to stop the progress of the country are against the AAP, but the almighty is with us," said Kejriwal at party headquarters in Delhi.

AAP's national convener said that the party's aim is to make India number one country in the world. “AAP's ideology is based on three pillars—die-hard honesty, patriotism and humanity,” he added.

While speaking at the event, he remembered his colleagues Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jail, who are currently lodged in jail.

"The hope of crores of people from the AAP has now turned into faith. People have given us a huge responsibility and with the blessings of the god, we will honestly discharge it," he said.

Kejriwal also pointed out that there are 1,300 political parties in the country, of which only six enjoy the status of a national party and just three now--BJP, Congress and AAP. "I will be lucky if every drop of my blood is shed for the country," he added.
