The Bulandshahr police has launched a manhunt for one Rashid Khan after he was seen in a video justifying the horrific murder of Shraddha Walker by her live-in partner in Delhi. Rashid says anybody may behave like Aftab Amin Poonawala, the accused, if he is in a fit of rage.

"When one is in a fit of rage, he can cut anyone into 36 pieces, instead of just 35,” he says in the video.

Responding to a question on whether he was justifying the murder of Shraddha, Rashid says: “It happens”.

"If I am in a rage, I may also behave similarly," he further says.

According to reports, Rashid is a native of  Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh though the controversial video was made in Delhi.

"We are probing the matter and as soon as we find this man, suitable action will be taken," SSP Bulandshahr told news agency IANS.

Aftab allegedly strangled his live-in partner Shradha Walkar and sawed her body into 35 pieces which he kept in a fridge for almost three weeks at his residence in South Delhi's Mehrauli locality. He later disposed of the body parts across the city over several days.

The bone chilling details of the crime came out after Aftab was arrested on November 11 by the Delhi Police.

A local court on Tuesday extended the police custody of Aftab for four more days while another court gave Delhi Police permission to conduct a polygraph test on him.
