Gujarat ATS arrests four involved in Bombay 1993 blasts

The Gujarat Anti Terrorism Squad arrested four absconding terrorists accused in the 1993 Bombay serial blasts case. Around 257 people were killed and 1400 injured in a series of blasts in Bombay on March 12, 1993. the four terrorists are known to be close to mafia don Dawood Ibrahim. 

The four arrested are— Abu Bakr, Yusuf Bhatka, Shoaib Baba and Syed Qureshi.

Aafiq Nachan has been arrested by the Gujarat Police in connection with a terror module busted in Rajasthan recently. 

The Gujarat police had earlier arrested seven people in connection with the module. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is investigating possible links of a terrorist outfit suspected to be planning strikes in the country with the module.
