Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan hit out at former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, likening him to Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
Addressing a poll rally in Deoria in UP on Sunday, the MP CM asked the people present, "Akhilesh Yadav is today's Aurangzeb. He (Akhilesh) wasn't loyal to his father; so will he be loyal to you?"
He said he isn't the one making this claim, but Mulayam Singh Yadav himself had said this.
"Aurangzeb did the same, he jailed his father, killed his brothers. Mulayam ji says no one has humiliated him the way Akhilesh Yadav did," he said.
The MP CM was referring to the feud between Akhilesh Yadav and Mulayam Singh over the control of their party ahead of the assembly polls in 2017.
