The UAE suspended all incoming flights from India on April 24 on account of the COVID-19 pandemic. While flights from the UAE to India have resumed, only UAE nationals, diplomats, official delegations and golden visa holders are allowed to travel from India to the gulf nation.
In responses to queries on Twitter on Thursday, the Emirates Support handle informed, "Our flights from India are suspended until 07th Aug and are subject to further review." Passengers were advised to refer to the Emirates website for updates.
Etihad, the flag carrier of Abu Dhabi, had announced earlier this week that flights from India to Abu Dhabi would remain suspended until August 2, "which may be extended".
