While the rest of the world has DIY (do-it-yourself), India has jugaad, loosely translated as a non-conventional 'hack'. Indians know how to make do with least of resources—it is altogether a different matter that the jugaad may not always be the safest way of doing things. From using electric iron to make veg cheese sandwiches, to using a hanger and clothes to set up a tripod, Indians have often turned to jugaad to save the day.

IAS officer Awanish Sharan recently took to Twitter to share the video of a jugaad that really impressed him. It was the video of a few men who found an innovative way to ride their bikes on waterlogged roads. While riding through waterlogged streets are ill-advised especially when the water level is above the exhaust, these youngsters appears to have come up with a hack which makes it easier for them to ride through such roads. However, it is not clear where the video has been filmed.

“Have never seen before !! ‘Jugaad’ at it's best.😀👌👍VC: SM (It may be dangerous to try),” Sharan wrote, sharing the video on Twitter.

One commented that the jugaad may be inspired by snorkels.

"I used to always think that there this problem of water logging in the nation why haven't the bikes or cars provided with some accessory to deal in such situations. N look these boys did the required modification," wrote another.
