A peeping tom Assistant Professor was caught red handed as he tried placing his mobile phone inside a woman's toilet. The Assistant Professor at IIT-Madras was reported after a PhD student who went to the toilet noticed a mobile phone at the window facing her.
The police have identified the offender as Subham Banerji. Subham is an Assistant Professor at the Aerospace Engineering Department. A police official told The New Indian Express that on finding the phone, she found the camera was on. She rushed outside, locked the men's bathroom from out and called the security guard. When the guard opened the men's bathroom, Subham was found inside. A police case has been registered.
