The AAP has registered a landslide victory in Delhi by winning 62 seats, pushing the Bharatiya Janata Party to a distant second and leaving the Congress virtually decimated in the capital. While the BJP won eight seats, the Congress drew a blank for the second time in a row.
The AAP almost replicated its fairy-tale victory of 2015 in a keenly-watched battle fought in the middle of anti-CAA protests.
Arvind Kejriwal will take oath as the chief minister of Delhi for the third time at a grand ceremony to be held at the historic Ramlila Maidan on Sunday.
