Controversial godman Swami Nithyananda may be on the run, but that has not stopped the seemingly endless flow of his discourses and bewildering statements.

A week ago, news went viral of Nithyananda buying an island to form nation called 'Kailaasa' off the coast of Ecuador. The government in Ecuador issued a statement denying that it had given land for Kailaasa.

Not surprisingly, Nithyananda has released updates on the Kailaasa project. On Monday, his official Facebook handle claimed, "Some governments have officially approached us and invited us to have Kailaasa settlement in their place".

In the rambling and seemingly disjointed post, which has been titled as "powerful cognitions" from his satsang, Nithyananda claims "We will start working with them [governments]". Nithyananda's statement claims that with the blessings of the gods and goddesses, "We will have not only space, but place for Kailaasa! Because the governments themselves have approached us". Intriguingly, in the statement, the new nation is called both Kailasha and Kailaasa!

Nithyananda claims that "suddenly in the last few days, social media has started talking" about Kailaasa and were not talking about the "lies and rumours" that are being spread. Providing numbers, Nithyananda claimed "8 lakh people are visiting the Kailaasa website per day, 1 lakh were becoming members per day and 12 lakh people were applying for e-citizenship".

Providing details about his new nation, Nithyananda writes, "We are the only nation with no tax, completely run on voluntary contribution". Nithyananda adds Kailaasa also does not have an army. "We only pray to Param Shiva. Param Shiva and Mahakala Bhairava protect us. This is the only protection we have,” Nithyananda writes.

Continuing to bolster his claims of being Param Shiva, the ultimate manifestation of lord Shiva, Nithyananda declares he was "always radiating Param Shiva". Nithyananda boasts that even those who are attacking and abusing him know deep inside them, "Swamiji has powers; Param Shiva is real. He has incarnated as Swamiji." An undated video went viral last week that shows Nithyananda claiming he is Param Shiva and no "stupid court" could touch him.

Nithyananda began the statement by telling his followers that they can "become Param Shiva". "The space, state and being of Param Shiva can manifest in you," Nithyananda declared.

In the statement, Nithyananda alluded to his decision to leave India in the wake of criminal cases against him in Gujarat. Nithyananda wrote, "These attackers may have stopped me from being physically available to people, but they are not able to stop me manifesting powers."
