The Bengaluru police arrested Salim Khan, the MD of security agency Bangalore Security Force (BSF), for assaulting two employees in his office, multiple reports emerged on Wednesday. A video of the incident had gone viral, prompting the HSR police to take cognisance and bring in Salim Khan, who was reportedly in hiding. The video, which THE WEEK could not independently verify, shows Khan stamping on the necks of an employee. 

"There was a viral video on social media in which the MD of Bangalore Security Force (BSF) Salim Khan was seen assaulting two of his employees. We have booked a suo motu case under section 307 (attempt to murder) at the HSR Layout police station. There are six suspects in the case," DCP Isha Pant said, reported The NewsMinute

According to a report in the Deccan Herald, the employees had allegedly planned to abduct Karim as they were not paid their salaries. The assault happened when Khan sensed the development.

The assaulted staffers, according to The NewsMinute, have been identified as Farizuddin and Riazuddin, both hailing from Assam.
