Fitness influencer Jeff Nippard’s fiancée Stephanie Buttermore has died at the age of 36.

Nippard took to Instagram to make the statement on her passing. "It is with profound sorrow that we share the sudden passing of Jeff's fiancée and partner of ten years, Stephanie," his team wrote. "As many of you know, Stephanie meant the world to Jeff. She will be remembered for her warmth and compassion, her love for her family, and her PhD research on ovarian cancer."

The message ended with "We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this tragic loss. Thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time."

The cause of her death has not been made public.

Buttermore’s death came just weeks after her 36th birthday.

Dr Stephanie Buttermore was a fitness influencer with more than a million subscribers on YouTube and over 500,000 followers on Instagram. However, she stopped making content after 2024, citing anxiety.

In her last post, which was made in May 2024, she said  that her anxiety became “crippling… to the point I felt I couldn’t breathe or leave my house.”

A few months later, she updated that her “mental health has been the best it’s ever been” and she was “way more present” in her life.

Nippard's last post with her was posted 2 weeks ago. The two are seen sitting on the couch in the image, which is captioned "Relationshipmaxxing with tea time to lower cortisol levels.“ "Love you forever," Buttermore said in a comment on the post.

Buttermore held a PhD in Pathology and Cell Biology from the University of Florida, and her research focused on the molecular mechanisms of ovarian cancer. Despite having a future in academics, she switched to become a full-time influencer to educate on social media. She became popular with her “all in” journey, where she documented her decision to stop restrictive dieting and let her body reach its natural 'set point' weight.

After she decided to take a break in 2024, many netizens began speculating on her absence.

'She was a ubiquitous menace for a long time online, and it seems like she has almost zero online presence nowadays,' one person said.

Many online said that her videos helped them overcome disordered eating habits and said that they found her journey inspiring.

Buttermore’s income also dropped last year after she decided to stop making content. Her revenue streams from partner earnings on YouTube were estimated at around  $20,000, and her Instagram sponsorships at around $100,000. In 2019, her net worth was $500,000 based solely on her YouTube earnings.
