Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming mythological epic "Ramayana", starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, has recorded an impressive ₹44.11 crore in worldwide advance bookings ahead of its theatrical release on November 5, 2026. According to trade portal Sacnilk’s tracking data as of October 31, the film has generated ₹19.61 crore in domestic bookings and ₹24.50 crore from overseas markets.
In India, the film’s opening-day bookings for Thursday, November 5, have reportedly reached ₹19.61 crore gross. However, after excluding blocked seats, the actual ticket sales stand at ₹16.31 crore. So far, around 3.29 lakh tickets have been sold across the country.
Among Indian states, Karnataka leads the booking chart with ₹3.89 crore in gross collections, reports Sacnilk. Excluding blocked seats, its collections stand at ₹3.48 crore. Maharashtra follows closely with ₹3.85 crore. Delhi has contributed ₹3.25 crore. Together, the top 10 states account for 86% of the film’s total domestic opening-day bookings.
At the city level, the National Capital Region (NCR) leads with ₹3.25 crore in gross bookings, representing around 17% of the total. Bengaluru is second with ₹3.12 crore, followed by Mumbai with ₹2.48 crore. The top 10 cities together contribute 67% of the film’s early domestic bookings.
Hindi is the biggest contributor to the film’s advance sales, accounting for ₹16.28 crore, or 83% of the domestic total, across 8,326 tracked shows. The Hindi version is particularly strong in the NCR. Kannada is the second-largest language market, contributing ₹2.56 crore, or 13% of domestic bookings.
The film has also recorded 23 houseful shows across India. However, there is still considerable room for growth, with around 90% of its 9,050 registered shows reporting available seats.
Overseas markets have contributed even more to the film’s bookings. North America, covering the United States and Canada, leads international sales with $1.91 million, approximately ₹18.15 crore. This represents nearly 74% of the overseas total.
The United Kingdom and Ireland have contributed $268,800 (around ₹2.25 crore), while Australia and New Zealand have recorded $248,300 (approximately ₹2.10 crore). Germany has added $86,400, while other international markets have contributed another $62,800.
In the five days leading up to its theatrical release, "Ramayana" could see a further surge in bookings, especially factoring in the recently resolved terms with local Indian multiplexes. This is expected to help ticket sales gather momentum in the final days.
