With so many titles dropping in the streaming space at a rapid pace, it goes without saying that viewers have been spoilt for choice and are struggling to keep up with new arrivals — just when you get hooked on to a show, here comes another one that seems equally — or much more — interesting, and next thing you know, you're watching two shows simultaneously. In this list, we pick the currently trending, most-discussed shows from various genres.
Off Campus
Based on the bestselling New Adult romance book series of the same name written by author Elle Kennedy, the first season is an adaptation of the first book, "The Deal", which follows an unexpected fake-date set-up and the subsequent blossoming of a real romance between Hannah Wells, a witty music major, and Garrett Graham, a popular ice hockey captain. Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli play the two lead characters. Season 1, consisting of 8 episodes, premiered on May 13, 2026. The Prime Video show was already renewed for a second season before the first season's premiere. The next chapter is expected to shift its focus to the romance between two different characters.
The Agency
A political spy thriller series hailing from Paramount+ (streaming in India on JioHotstar), the show benefits from a stellar ensemble comprising some of the biggest names in showbiz — Michael Fassbender, Richard Gere, and Jeffrey Wright, among others. It debuted on November 29, 2024. It is based on the French series "The Bureau" (some regard it as far superior). "The Agency" follows CIA agent Martian, who becomes embroiled in a complex series of events as he abandons his undercover life to return to active duty. Hollywood star George Clooney is one of the executive producers alongside Grant Heslov. Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth created the series. Interestingly, Season 2 fetched better reviews than Season 1. However, given the strong audience reception, a second season was immediately greenlit. The latter premiered in June 2026.
I Will Find You
Though the critics’ reviews haven't been enthusiastic, the Netflix show became a hit with viewers who took an instant liking to its fast-paced storytelling. The series marked "Avatar" actor Sam Worthington's maiden foray into the long-form series space. Based on Harlan Coben's novel of the same name, the 8-episode limited series premiered on June 18, 2026 and quickly climbed to the number one spot on the global streaming charts. It follows a falsely convicted father serving a life sentence for the murder of his own son, Matthew. When his former sister-in-law presents a recent photograph showing Matthew alive, David stages an audacious prison break. He risks everything to run from the law, uncover a massive conspiracy, and save his son. The show features Britt Lower ("Severance") as his former sister-in-law, Milo Ventimiglia ("Heroes"), and Madeleine Stowe ("The Last of the Mohicans") in other major roles.
Cape Fear
Created by Nick Antosca, the ongoing 10-part psychological thriller miniseries is the second remake of the 1962 film of the same name starring Robert Mitchum and the 1991 movie starring Robert De Niro. The two actors played Max Cady, a psychotic murderer who, after being released from prison, goes after the lawyer who put him away, in pursuit of vengeance. However, the reboot series, streaming on Apple TV, is a reimagining of the same story (by author John D. Macdonald, with several changes made to the personalities of its lead characters. The plot centres on a happily married couple of attorneys, Tom and Anna Bowden, whose lives are completely upended by Cady's arrival. Hollywood legends Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg are executive producers.
Widow's Bay
An immensely popular horror-comedy mystery series, streaming on Apple TV, recently concluded its Season 1 run. Created by Katie Dippold and directed by Hiro Murai, the show has already been officially renewed for a second season. The series follows Tom Loftis (played by Matthew Rhys), the ambitious mayor of a sleepy, isolated New England island town who is looking to boost the local economy and holds a romanticised view of the setting. However, his plans are constantly derailed by a centuries-old supernatural curse and superstitious locals. Each episode presents a unique, anthology-style haunting — ranging from an ominous fog that changes residents' behaviour to sea hags, cult-like covenants, and haunted inns. Kate O'Flynn plays his eccentric assistant Patricia Moyer, while Stephen Root plays Wyck Crawford, an outspoken believer in the island's lore.

Streaming on Prime Video, the sci-fi horror series follows the residents of a nightmarish, inescapable town in middle America, characterised by a strange quality: it traps anyone who enters, leading them into a loop-like track. The unwilling townsfolk must find a way to survive the terrifying, smiling humanoid creatures that emerge from the forest at night, all while searching for answers and a way back home. To ward off the monsters, the residents hang mysterious stone Talismans inside their homes and lock all doors and windows. The monsters cannot enter if a talisman is present, unless a resident willingly invites them in. Harold Perrineau plays the lead character, a former military veteran who serves as the self-appointed sheriff trying to maintain order.
