The box office performance of "Vaazha 2" continues to be impressive. On Day 10, that is the second Saturday, the Malayalam coming-of-age sequel grossed a total of Rs 140 crore worldwide, with the Malayalam version alone fetching Rs 7.50 crore, marking the highest Day 10 collection, Sacnilk data showed.
This figure allowed it to surpass the previous record held by "Manjummel Boys", which collected Rs 7.45 crore on its tenth day. Other notable films in this category include "Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra" with Rs 7.40 crore, "Thudarum" with Rs 7.35 crore, and 2018 with Rs 5.65 crore. The film’s growth during its second weekend clearly shows its strong performance trend and confirms its blockbuster status.

Starring influencers-turned-actors Hashir, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V, the film is doing better than its hit predecessor, driven by rooted emotions and humour.
Trade analysts expect "Vaazha 2" to maintain its steady and sustainable run for a while longer. It opened with a solid Rs 4.75 crore and remained stable during the weekdays, consistently earning around Rs 7 crore. This indicates that the film is not relying only on early hype but is attracting regular audiences, especially families. The jump to Rs 7.50 crore on the second Saturday suggests long-term success.
"Vaazha 2" is now eyeing the 100-crore club in Kerala, and is expected to hit that milestone in another week or two. So far, only two films have managed to hit the mark in under a week — "Lokah" and "Thudarum".
