Box office: 'Dhurandhar The Revenge' sees big jump on fourth weekend, records highest single-day earnings since third weekend

The Ranveer Singh film shows steady momentum unlike other big releases. What's more impressive is that the film's A rating and the nearly four-hour runtime have not been a hindrance to its box office performance

Just when you thought it would take a dip after the third week, as would most big films do around this time, "Dhurandhar 2" surprised yet again by registering an impressive number on its fourth weekend.

The fourth Saturday saw the Ranveer Singh movie registering a figure of Rs 13.50 crore, according to box office tracking portal Sacnilk. It noted a 92.9% surge compared to the previous day, which registered just Rs 7.00 crore.

This takes the India total gross to Rs 1,279.80 crore and India net figure to Rs 1,068.92 crore. Combining the overseas gross of Rs 411.50 crore, the global gross now stands at Rs 1,691.30 crore. It is currently marching towards the Rs 1,700 crore mark.

The Hindi-language continues to bring the most numbers, at Rs 13 crore. Despite an occupancy of 24%, the Hindi version has the advantage of running across 7,929 shows.

The rest of the 0.50 is comprised of the collective earnings from the Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu dubbed versions.

Released on 19 March 2026, the film follows an undercover Indian intelligence agent, Jasikirat Singh Rangi (Ranveer Singh), as he infiltrates Karachi's criminal syndicates and Pakistani politics to avenge the 26/11 attacks and dismantle their crime systems.

The film's 18+ rating (A) — due to its visceral action and strong violence — and the nearly four-hour runtime have not been a hindrance to its box office performance.

"Dhurandhar 2" has been a major contender for other blockbusters like "Pushpa 2" and "Baahubali 2". It became the first Indian film to earn more than Rs 100 crore in a single day for Hindi net collections for two consecutive days — that is, Saturday and Sunday.

Most notably, it became the first Hindi film to surpass the Rs 1,000 crore net collection milestone in India.

It is India's first film to net Rs 1,000 Crore in the Hindi version alone.

It is the highest-grossing Indian Film in North America,  having surpassed the long-standing record of "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" by crossing $25 million in the region.
