Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is still taking theatres by storm as it continues its box office reign into the fourth week.
The spy thriller has minted Rs 1,668.34 crore in the worldwide box office till Day 23. This includes Rs 1,258.34 crore in gross domestic collection and Rs 410 crore from overseas screens.
On Day 23, Dhurandhar 2 raked in Rs 2.64 crore in net domestic collection till 6 pm, according to Sacnilk. This takes the total net domestic collection to Rs 1,051.06 crore so far.
When will Dhurandhar 2 release on OTT?
Citing industry insiders, Sacnilk suggests that Dhurandhar 2 might arrive on JioHotstar in late May or early June 2026. This also corresponds with the end of the ongoing IPL season.
Unlike Dhurandhar, the first installment in the franchise that released on Netflix, the record-breaking sequel will be brought to your home screens via JioHotstar.
Considering the eight-week rule to ensure movies remain exclusive to theatres of a minimum of 56 days before debuting on OTT or satellite TV, the release of Dhurandhar 2 will have to wait till mid-May to complete two months and arrive in the digital space. This will give ample time for the Aditya Dhar directorial to continue its record-breaking theatre run.
The lifetime worldwide collection of Baahubali 2 stands at Rs 1,788.06 crore while that of Pushpa 2 was pegged at Rs 1,742.1 crore. Dhurandhar 2 needs just another Rs 76 crore to surpass Pushpa 2 and another Rs 120 crore to overtake Baahubali 2.
