"Ustaad Bhagat Singh", starring Pawan Kalyan, has earned a total worldwide gross of around Rs 71.67 crore in its first three days, just a few crores short of the third-day total gross of the actor's "Hari Hara Veera Mallu".

It also couldn't match the performance of Pawan Kalyan's last release "They Call Him OG", which made Rs 63.75 crore on its opening day. However, "Ustaad Bhagat Singh" still made it into the top 10 of the biggest opening day collections in Tollywood, a noteworthy achievement.

The movie, directed by Harish Shankar, hit theaters on March 19, 2026, just in time to cash in on the Ugadi and Eid holidays, which helped it attract a large number of viewers during its opening weekend.

Of this, approximately Rs 9.25 crore came from the overseas market, showing that the film has gained some international traction, though the bulk of its earnings are still coming from domestic screens.

However, despite the impressive opening, its box office performance saw a noticeable dip on Day 2. The film couldn't maintain its momentum, possibly due to the mixed reviews and also the fact that "Dhurandhar 2" is also playing in theatres and dominating most of the screens.

"Ustad Bhagat Singh" was made with a reported budget of Rs 150 crore. As of now, it has recovered about 30% of that budget, which means it still has a long way to go before it reaches the "break-even" point, going by the early estimates. To be considered financially safe, the movie needs to cross the Rs 150 crore mark in net earnings.

As per reports, the film's biggest collections have come from the Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which contributed around Rs 47.30 crore to the total earnings in the first two days. This indicates that the movie is resonating well with its target audience, but it remains to be seen if it will sustain this momentum.
