A new song that went viral for the wrong reasons seemed to have been removed from the YouTube page of KVN Productions. The lyrics of "Sarke Chunar" were widely criticised on social media due to their explicit nature. Netizens questioned not only the major downgrade of lyrics in songs written today but also how it passed the radars of authorities who were usually quick to censor and butcher everything.

The only versions of the song available on YouTube right now are is the Tamil-dubbed version. The picturisation featured Sanjay Dutt and Nora Fatehi. The song is from the Kannada movie "KD The Devil" starring Dhruva Sarja. The  movie is expected to release in theatres on April 30.

The Hindi song's vocals are by Mangli (Satyavathi Rathod), with lyrics by the movie's director, Prem. Arjun Janya composed the music.

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has reportedly taken note of the issue and sent a notice to YouTube. This explains why the song, with the Hindi lyrics, is nowhere to be found on the offical pages of the movie's makers.

However, one cannot rule out the possibility of anonymous uploaders posting it elsewhere and sharing it through social media apps. Parts of the video, with the objectionable lyrics intact, are already circulating on social media.
