The television division of Marvel Entertainment has confirmed the return of Daredevil, aka Matt Murdock, in the second season of "Daredevil: Born Again". For Indian viewers, the show will be available for streaming from March 25, 2026, on JioHotstar, a day after it opens on Disney+ in international territories.

The announcement was confirmed by a new teaser and posters, which see the return of fan-favourite villain Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter).

The show, which will see Murdock take on Kingpin — currently the Mayor of New York City — and his Anti-Vigilante Task Force,  has also teased the return of some characters who were believed to be dead, given the events of the previous seasons, most notably, the original three-season "Daredevil" series.

The show will see the presence of Toby Leonard Moore as James Welsey, although it's not yet known if it's a flashback scene or a situation specifically from the upcoming season.

The other returning character is Detective Sergeant Brett Mahoney, played by Royce Johnson.

The updated cast is as follows: Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter / Bullseye.

Dario Scardapane is involved as the showrunner of "Daredevil: Born Again" Season 2. It will contain 8 episodes. A third season has already been confirmed and is currently in the middle of production.
