The son of theatre and cine actor K.A. Murali and Prasanna, Hari began his acting career in television as a child actor before getting his big break in director Lal Jose's "Rasikan". The performance, especially his impressive dialogue delivery tinged with mischief, which required him to say a lengthy line, caught everyone's attention.
Hari later went on to appear in a little over a dozen movies. In "Annan Thambi", he was cast as the child version of Siddique's character. He has been away from acting gigs for a while after he began working as a visual effects and graphics designer at a firm in Ernakulam. He had pursued a BSc in Visual Effects and Animation from Bengaluru.
His other movie appearances include "To Harihar Nagar", "Pramughan", "Ulagan Chuttum Valibhan", and Nadirsha's "Amar Akbar Antony". In "Amar Akbar Antony", he played the younger brother of the character played by Prithviraj.
Hari is related to actors Ganapathy ("Manjummel Boys", "Alappuzha Gymkhana") and Babu Annur ("Oru Indian Pranayakadha').
