'Border 2' Day 14 Box Office Collection: Sunny Deol war drama set to cross 2 milestones in domestic, worldwide earnings

The box office collection of 'Border 2' has been on a decline during the week days. It remains to be seen if the war drama can see renewed momentum during its third weekend

Border 2 has slowed down its initial momentum at the box office but the Sunny Deol-starring war drama is set to cross Rs 400 crore in worldwide collection on Day 14.

Till Day 13, the war drama directed by Anurag Singh and produced jointly by JP Films and T-Series collected Rs 398.5 crore in worldwide box office. This includes Rs 347.5 crore in gross domestic earnings and Rs 51 crore from overseas screens.

In the net domestic collection too, Border 2 is set to break another record. The film has collected Rs 292 crore till 8 pm on Day 14 and is expected to enter the Rs 300 crore club in net domestic collection.

On Day 14, which is the second Thursday, Border 2 collected just Rs 2.09 crore till 8 pm, according to Sacnilk.

Border 2 opened with a net domestic collection of Rs 30 crore on Day 1. The next three days saw the collections rising steadily, earning Rs 36.5 crore on first Saturday and Rs 54.5 crore on first Sunday. It reached a peak on the Republic Day, collecting Rs 59 crore on first Monday, as patriots thronged theatres on the national holiday.

The numbers started dipping on Day 5, collecting Rs 20 crore. The earnings dipped to Rs 13 crore on Day 6, followed by Rs 11.25 crore on Day 7 and Rs 10.75 crore on Day 8.

However, the second weekend saw renewed momentum. Border 2 bagged Rs 17.75 crore on Day 9, Saturday, and Rs 22.5 crore on Day 10, Sunday.

As expected, the week days saw a drop in collections. The movie earned just Rs 5.75 crore each on Day 11 and 12, followed by Rs 4.15 crore on Day 13.

Besides Sunny Deol, the cast of Border 2 includes Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa, Medha Rana and Mona Singh.
