Actor Nadeem Khan has been arrested in Mumbai for allegedly raping his domestic help for 10 years on the promise of marriage.
Khan was arrested on January 22 following a complaint lodged by a 41-year-old woman, and he is currently in police custody. The actor was recently seen in the Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar.

In her complaint, the woman stated that she had worked as a domestic help for several actors and had come into contact with Khan several years ago. The two grew close, and Khan allegedly promised to marry her.
On that assurance, Khan raped her on multiple occasions at her residence in Malwani and at his house in Versova for nearly 10 years, the complaint said.
She approached the Versova police after Khan reportedly refused to marry her. Since the first alleged assault occurred at her residence, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Malvani police, the Versova police have transferred the case on a zero FIR.
