After a three-year gap, the second season of Apple TV's Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is set to arrive this year. The new chapter of the 'Monsterverse' series, which sees the return of Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett, and Anders Holm, will premiere on February 27, 2026, with the first episode, followed by one episode each week leading up to the finale on May 1, 2026.

The second season will comprise 10 episodes. It will feature Kong, Godzilla, and a new threat in the form of a new Titan named 'Titan X'. According to the official logline, "Titan X isn’t just another monster; it’s a living cataclysm. When its massive bioluminescent form breaks the surface of the ocean, the world seems to hold its breath. In Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season two, Titan X stands at the center of the mystery — an ancient force emerging from the deep, its purpose uncertain, its power unmatched, its awe and terror in equal measure."

Season two will feature guest stars Takehiro Hira, Amber Midthunder, Curtiss Cook, Cliff Curtis, Dominique Tipper, and Camilo Jiménez Varón.

Season one of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters revolved around two siblings investigating the connection between their family and a top-secret organisation known as Monarch, the monster-monitoring body, and the adventures with a former Army officer who becomes a contact of the family across two generations. Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell portray the older and younger selves of the officer in the two eras.
