Chiranjeevi is creating havoc at the box office with his Sankranthi release Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. The Anil Ravipudi directorial has already confirmed BLOCKBUSTER status through sensational trending in its first five days and the momentum continues to be on very high levels for this family entertainer.
The five-day India gross for the film is around Rs 145 crore while the overseas collections have been reported to be around Rs 34 crore. A massive chunk of the India collections are understandably from the Telugu states where the film is operating at all-time blockbuster levels if we take out SS Rajamouli's Baahubali series and RRR.
Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is set to have a big jump in collections on its sixth day, making optimal use of the weekend factor and final period of Sankranthi. Early estimates indicate approximately Rs 21-22 crore minimum and should go higher depending on how the evening and night shows perform. There is immense demand for the film across all territories in the Telugu states.

As per the trends seen during these six days, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is certain to become Chiranjeevi's maiden entry in the Rs 300 crore club. He will also be the first senior hero from the Telugu industry to enter this club and to achieve this without any dubbed versions is a huge achievement.
However, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has underperformed overseas after a superb start, although the collections are still at steady levels. It has gone past $3.35 million with a huge chunk coming from USA where it has gone past $2.25 million.
