Having recently wrapped production, the much-loved Lincoln Lawyer will return to Netflix for its fourth outing. The streamer has announced a premiere date of Feb. 5, 2026 for the latest season, which will see actor Manuel Garcia Rulfo returning as the legal hero Mickey Haller.

The fourth season is based on the sixth book in best-selling author Michael Connelly's Lincoln Lawyer book series, The Law of Innocence. Netflix has unveiled the first look images, and the official logline: “Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia Rulfo) faces his toughest case yet as he and his team work tirelessly to prove his innocence in the murder of a former client, Sam Scales. To clear his name, they must unravel Sam’s final scam, forcing them to go head-to-head with the DA’s office, the FBI, and ghosts from Mickey’s own past.”

When production began in April 2025, co-executive producer and co-showrunner Ted Humphrey teased that the fourth season will tackle the "biggest and most personal challenge Mickey has ever faced, and also the biggest roller coaster we’ve yet taken our audience on," which has been confirmed by the aforementioned logline.

Rulfo's co-stars in this season includes Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, and Angus Sampson as well as: Krista Warner, Elliott Gould, Emmanuelle Chiriquí, Marcus Henderson, Gigi Zumbado, Scott Lawrence, Constance Zimmer, Lana Parilla, Sasha Alexander, Cobie Smulders, Kacey Montoya, Jason O’Mara, Jason Butler Harner, Javon Johnson, Kyle Richards, and Nancy Silverton.

Creator David E. Kelley is involved as executive producer alongside Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez. In an official joint statement, Humphrey and Rodriguez expressed their eagerness to present the show to the world. "Following the incredibly suspenseful and emotional climax of Season 3, the stakes have never been higher, because this time Mickey is the client. With his very life and reputation on the line, he’ll need the strength and support of his entire team, and his entire family, to fight for his future.”

Humphrey also directed the first two episodes. "As a director, I was so happy with how the third season finale turned out, and I am also directing the opener of Season 4 so it feels like we are picking up right where we left off, which is really fun for me and also creatively very satisfying,” Humphrey told Netflix earlier this year.
