Popular Marathi actor Sachin Chandwade passed away on Friday(October 24) allegedly by suicide. The 25-year-old was found hanging in his residence at Parola on Thursday (October 23) by his own family members.

Chandwade's family instantly got him to the nearest hospital in a bid to revive his health condition. Initially, the Jamtara 2 star was taken to a private hospital at his village in Undirkhede but the initial treatment methods weren't showing the required progress for the actor.

Consequently, Chandwade was taken to another hospital in Dhule for an increased level of treatment but in the early hours of Friday, Chandwade breathed his last amidst the doctors' best efforts. Apart from doing the popular Netflix series Jamtara 2, Chandwade was also known in the Marathi film circles and he also had an upcoming release in Asurvan.

Chandwade wasn't just an actor, he also had another profession - that of an IT professional. In trying to ensure a smooth path for acting career, the actor also worked at Pune's IT park for a considerable amount of time. Chandwade's death has shocked the Marathi industry, even as the promotions of Asurvan were just about to take off.

The reasons behind Chandwade's suicide are not yet known and nobody from his family is available yet to comment on this matter. For now, his death has been officially registered as an accident and police has begun investigation on the incident.
