Madharaasi aka Madharasi saw a dip in collection after its first weekend, collecting just Rs 4.15 crore in worldwide box office on Monday.
Compared to this, the AR Murugadoss directorial raked in Rs 13.65 crore on Day 1, Rs 11 crore on Day 2 and Rs 10 crore on Day 3.

Madharaasi aka Madharasi netted Rs 1.52 crore from domestic box office till 6 pm on Day 5, taking its total net Indian collection to Rs 42.82 crore, according to Sacnilk.

Produced by Sri Lakshmi Movies at Rs 180 crore budget, Madharaasi has collected Rs 100 crore in pre-release business. The gross domestic collection of Madharaasi stood at Rs 48.5 crore.

The worldwide collection was reported to be around Rs 68.75 crore on Day 4 while the overseas collection was Rs 20.25 crore.
Sivakarthikeyan is collaborating with AR Murugadoss for the first time. He has been lauded for this acting and dance moves in the movie, wherein he plays a trauma-riddled yet empowered hero.
