Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Navas, who is know for his mimicry and parody songs, has passed away. He was found dead at a hotel in Chottanikkara on Friday night.
How did Kalabhavan Navas die?
Kalabhavan Navas was believed to have suffered a heart attack after reaching his hotel room, according to Manorama Online.
Navas was in Chottanikkara in connection with a film shooting, according to the report. He had come back to his hotel room along with other cast and crew after completing the shoot.
However, the hotel staff realised that keys to one of the rooms was not returned and the room was still closed. The staff opened the door and found Navas lying dead.
Navas entered Malayalam cinema industry through Chaithanyam (1995). His notable movies include Mattupetti Machan, Thillana Thillana, Junior Mandrake, My Dear Karadi and Ishtamanu Nooruvattam.
He began his career as a mimicry artist and later set up a mimicry troupe called Cochin Arts along with his brother Niyas Bakr.
