Yash Raj Films (YRF) has finally dropped the trailer for the long-awaited War 2, and the internet is abuzz with excitement and anticipation. The second instalment in the War franchise and the sixth project in the YRF Spy Universe, the movie marks the return of Hrithik Roshan as Major Kabir Dhaliwal to the big screen after five years. The film also features actress Kiara Advani and Telugu superstar Jr. NTR, the latter making his debut in Bollywood. This marks director Ayan Mukerji’s second action flick, following Brahmastra: Part 1.

Adrenaline-fuelled action scenes, menacing glares, and powerful dialogues keep the viewers on the edge of their seats during this one-and-a-half-minute sneak peek into what to expect from the film. Kabir is still labelled a rogue agent, on the run following the events of War. He aims to abandon all that he cares for in the style of a true soldier and patriot, choosing to go by his own rules.

This time, however, he is chased by Special Units Officer Vikram (Jr. NTR), a man with a mission and a possible personal agenda against Kabir. The fights range from bullet-laden car chases to explosive yachts and boats. There even seems to be a samurai-like showdown in the cards for a katana-wielding Roshan, fighting assailants in what looks like a traditional Japanese home. There is also an interesting fight-and-romance dynamic between our protagonist and Advani, whose on-screen chemistry is also widely circulated across multiple fan pages and movie buffs.
