Mirzapur Season 3 hit Amazon Prime in the first week of July and opened to mixed reviews with some fans calling it slow-paced. Unlike its first two seasons, some viewers on social media felt the latest one was "boring".
When will Mirzapur Season 4 release?
Season 1 of the action crime thriller with nine episodes was released on Amazon Prime on November 16, 2018, while Season 2 hit the OTT screens on October 23, 2020. It took four years since then for Season 3 to reach fans as it released on July 4. Hence, guessing a future release date would be futile.
With Season 3 ending on a cliffhanger, the producers are expected to plan for Mirzapur Season 4 in the near future. However, there is no official announcement regarding when the pre-production works on Season 4 will begin.
What to expect from Season 4?
Season 3 saw Pankaj Tripathi's Kaleen Bhaiya returning from the dead. In the climax episode, he orchestrated the killing of all dons aka bahubalis in Purvanchal as well as the mediator from Paschim UP with the help of Chief Minister Madhuri Yadav (Isha Talwar). Guddu Pandit who was tortured in prison at the behest of Madhuri escapes with the help of JP Yadav and Golu to Nepal.
With this, Season 4 is expected to see the original rivals, Guddu and Kaleen, locking horns as they try to clinch the throne of Mirzapur. We will also see JP Yadav trying to unseat Madhuri from the CM's chair in the upcoming season.
