Fan-favorite show Panchayat opened to rave reviews for its Season 3, which was released on Amazon Prime on May 28. And now there is some good news for the show's fans -- Director Deepak Kumar Mishra revealed that they have started working on Season 4.
But that's not all. He said they are planning a Season 5 as well. The director's announcement is not a surprise as the Season 3 ended with several unresolved plot points.

“We have started writing Season 4. For us, generally there is no break between two seasons. The third season is over and we have written three to four episodes of the show," said Mishra.
"So far, we have thought about making Season 4and 5. For Season 4, we have a clear idea, and there is a broader idea for Season 5,” added the director.

When is Panchayat Season 4 releasing?
As of now there is no official announcement regarding the release date. But if we go by release dates of previous seasons, we can expect Season 4 to hit Amazon Prime after a hiatus of two years in mid-2026.
Panchayat Season 1 released on April 3, 2020 while Season 2 came out on May 20, 2022. With Season 3 also releasing after a two-year gap, the upcoming instalments are also expected to follow the suit.
