The makers of the Kamal Haasan film Indian 2, on Wednesday, released a poster of the film featuring actor Siddharth. Siddharth celebrates his 45th birthday today. The movie has Haasan reprising his role as Senapathy from the first film, Indian, which was released in 1996. The first film starred Manisha Koirala and Urmila Matondkar. Manisha Koirala will be making a special appearance in Indian 2.
In the poster shared by Lyca Productions, Siddharth can be seen in a stance as though he is ready to run. Sharing the poster they wrote, “Team INDIAN-2 wishes the multifaceted @worldofsiddharth a Happy Birthday! Your diverse roles and timeless charm continue to captivate everyone! Here’s to another year of success in your journey!”
The movie about a vigilante who sets out to mitigate corruption also stars Bobby Simha, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Kalidas Jayaram among others. The music for the movie has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander. It will hit the theatres in June.
Siddharth was last seen in Chittha. The film threw light on the sexual abuse of children. He will also be seen in The Test, helmed by producer Sashikanth. The cricket-based film also stars actors Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Meera Jasmine in prominent roles.
