With actress Taapsee Pannu tying the knot, her fans are wondering who her husband Mathias Boe is. The duo got hitched at a private ceremony attended by family and friends in Udaipur on March 23.
Who is Mathias Boe?
Mathias Boe, a Danish badminton player, bagged gold at the European Games in 2015 and struck silver at the London Olympics 2012.
He also won three straight World Super Series Finals from 2010 to 2012 and bagged the European Badminton Championship title in 2012 and 2017.
After retiring from professional badminton in 2020 at the age of 39, he was appointed as coach for Indian national badminton team's men's doubles division.
How did Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe meet?
Taapsee and Mathias met each other during the inaugural Indian Badminton League in 2013 when she made her Bollywood debut with Chashme Baddoor. They have been in a relationship for the past 11 years.
