Internet sensation and actor Poonam Pandey passed away this morning. The 32-year-old died of cervical cancer, her manager said.

Her team took to her social media account to share the news. “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared (sic),” they wrote.

Pandey was diagnosed with cancer when it was in a later stage. “This can't be true pls just spoke to you on the 10th no ways pls tell me the account is hacked noway it can't be true,” wrote one user. “I hope this is a fake post,” wrote another user.

Poonam made the Bollywood debut with the 2013 film ‘Nasha' and was last seen in the reality show 'Lock Upp.' Pandey rose to fame in 2011 when she vowed to strip for Team India if they won the ICC Cricket World Cup.
