Taj: Reign of Revenge season 2 – ZEE5

ZEE5 is back with the follow-up season of its original series based on the conflicts within the Mughal empire and the dynamics between Emperor Akbar and his two sons. In season 2, the battle for the throne gets fiercer. The eight-part show will continue to star Naseeruddin Shah as Emperor Akbar, Dharmendra as Shaikh Salim Chisti, Shubham Kumar Mehra as Prince Daniyal, Sandhya Mridul as Queen Jodha Bai, Zareena Wahab as Queen Salima, Queen Ruqaiya Begum as Padma Damodaran, Rahul Bose as Mirza Hakim.

Dahaad: Amazon Prime Video

The crime-drama series features Sonakshi Sinha as a cop hunting for a serial killer as women are found dead in public bathrooms. Created by filmmakers Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, the series also features Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah.

The Mother: Netflix

The eagerly-awaited action drama featuring Jennifer Lopez in the lead arrives just in time for Mother's Day. Directed by Niki Caro and Misha Green, the film follows an assassin who comes out of hiding to save her daughter.

Queen Cleopatra: Netflix

The latest installment in Netflix's African Queens series, Netflix is back with a docuseries on one of history's most famous women—Queen Cleopatra. The series re-creates the true story of Queen Cleopatra, narrated by Pinkett Smith. The first season followed 17th-century warrior Queen Njinga, who ruled over Ndongo and Matamba.

Crater: Disney plus Hotstar

In the coming-of-age sci-fi drama, a young boy named Caleb Channing, who grew up on a lunar colony, is set to be relocated to a new planet after the death of his father. Just before he leaves, he goes on a journey with his best friends to explore a mysterious crater.

Vikram Vedha: JioCinema

The action crime thriller which was released in theatres earlier is a remake of a 2017 Tamil hit movie by the same name. The film starring Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan tells the story of a tough police officer (Saif) who sets out to track down and hunt a menacing gangster, played by Hrithik. Vikram Vedha also stars Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf and Yogita Bihani in pivotal roles.
