Popular south Indian actor Manju Warrier, who had joined her Thunivu co-star Ajith Kumar on a bike ride to Ladakh last year, has now taken inspiration from him and bought a superbike.
"A tiny step of courage is always a good place to start," she wrote on Instagram, sharing a video of her picking up her newly-purchased BMW luxury bike in Kerala's Kochi.
She admitted that she is not a great rider and had a request to people who may see her on the road on her bike.
"Got to go a looooong way before I become a good rider, so if you see me fumbling on the roads, please be patient with me," the actor wrote.
Further, she thanked Ajith for inspiring her to buy the bike, saying, "Thank you for being an inspiration to many like me."
In September, after she joined Ajith on a bike ride to Ladakh, she had written on on an Instagram post: "“Huge thanks to our Super Star Rider Ajith Kumar. AK Sir! Being an avid traveller, I’ve had the opportunity of travelling thousands of miles on four-wheelers. This is the first time I’m doing a tour on a two-wheeler. Huge thanks to Adventure Riders India for inviting me over to join this wonderful group of passionate bikers."
