Ammu: Amazon Prime Video
Release date: October 19
Amazon Prime's first Telugu original movie, Ammu features actress Aishwarya Lekshmi in the titular role. The film, directed by Charukesh Sekar, also features Naveen Chandra and Bobby Simha. Ammu traces the transformation of a woman from being a victim of domestic violence to overcoming her internal conflicts and rising like a phoenix. Karthik Subbaraj serves as the creative producer of the movie.
Bimbisara: ZEE5
Release date: October 21
The Telugu fantasy drama, which was released in theatres in August, had received positive reviews for its plot and visuals. Directed by Mallidi Vassishta, Bimbisara features Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Samyuktha Menon, and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles. The time-travel story revolves around a ruthless king, who discovers a way to teleport himself to the future.
Brahmastra: Disney plus Hotstar
Release date: October 23
Ayan Mukherji's action fantasy drama, which opened to a lukewarm response at the box office recently, will now be available for OTT viewing. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Brahmastra: Part One Shiva marks the beginning of a new cinematic universe, ‘The Astraverse’. It was planned as the first part of an ambitious trilogy. The film also features Amitabh Bacchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni in prominent roles.
Four More Shots Please! Season 3: Amazon Prime Video

The hit Amazon series featuring Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari, Bani J and Maanvi Gagroo is back with a fresh season. The third season steps out of south Mumbai and also travels to Punjab and Italy this season as it explores the friendship between these women. Actors Jim Sarbh, Rohan Mehra, Shilpa Shukla and Sushant Singh join the cast for the third season, which also includes Prateik Babbar, Lisa Ray, Neil Bhooplam, Rajeev Siddharth, Amrita Puri, Simone Singh and Samir Kochhar.
The School for Good and Evil: Netflix

An adaptation of a novel by the same name, the Netflix fantasy movie revolves around best friends Sophie and Agatha, and what follows when they end up in a magical school for future fairy-tale heroes and villains. Directed by Paul Feig, the film features Sofia Wylie and Sophia Anne Caruso in lead roles.
The Peripheral: Amazon Prime Video

A futuristic sci-fi drama series set in the US, The Peripheral is an adaptation of a thriller novel by the same name. “Stuck in a small Appalachian town, a young woman’s only escape from the daily grind is playing advanced video games. She is such a good player that a company sends her a new video game system to test…but it has a surprise in store. It unlocks all of her dreams of finding a purpose, romance, and glamour in what seems like a game…but it also puts her and her family in real danger,” reads the streamer's description of the series.
