The National Icon Award winner film composer Maris Vijay recently won the prestigious "Emmaus Solidarite Det Award" for best background scoring in the French movie "Dans La Maison Du Capitaine".
The Film Award for Music Director 2022 was co-presented by Keethalaya production and Emmaüs Solidarité to Maris Vijay for the film "Dans la Maison du Capitaine" in Paris, France. Iconic French actress Madame Margaret presented the award, and Thirumalayuran S. Ashok Kumar received it on behalf of Maris Vijay.
The film "Dans La Maison Du Capitaine" was released worldwide on June 15th, 2022, and received a lot of praise for its picturization and background score. The film is directed by Ashok Kumar.
After making a concrete reputation with his music in Indian cinema, film composer Maris Vijay is now creating a buzz internationally. While expressing his gratitude for the award, he said, "The background score is the spirit of any film. The audience enjoys connecting with the plot as the background music brings the scenes to life. As the movie is a romantic thriller, I have given the background score a contemporary feel by including modern musical instruments."
According to sources, Maris Vijay is looking forward to his next mega project, "Le Secret Passage", a french film in the making under Madame Margaret production company. In addition, his latest Bollywood ventures, 'Ticket' and 'Sanjog The Coincidence, are set to be released soon in theatres as well as on major OTT platforms in India.
