A struggling actor, who is also a fan of Bollywood actor, has been arrested for issuing death threat to Katrina Kaif and her husband actor Vicky Kaushal.
The accused, identified as Manvinder Singh, has reportedly been struggling to find work in movies and TV shows in Mumbai. He had issued the threats to the actor couple on Instagram.
Based on the complaint filed by Kaushal , the Santacruz police had registered an FIR against the unidentified person under Indian Penal Code Sections 506-II (criminal intimidation) and 354-D (stalking).
The accused has been stalking Kaif over the past few months, saying he wants to marry her. He had even posted doctored images of him and the star.
Kaif and Kaushal got married in December 2021.
