A video that has gone viral on social platforms shows actor Vijay Sethupathi being attacked by an unidentified man at the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday night.
Sethupathi was returning after shooting a movie in the city when his personal assistant allegedly shoved the man while clearing the way for the actor inside the airport. Enraged by this, the man who was in an inebriated state attacked the actor's PA.
In the video, Sethupathi is seen moving towards the men to break the fight, but in that attempt, he is also pushed by someone.
After an altercation, the man and the people accompanying Sethupathi reached a compromise and decided to not lodge a police complaint, said a PTI report.

However, some other reports claimed that the incident took place after the actor rejected the man's request for a selfie, allegedly after he smelled alcohol. When the actor's assistant allegedly pushed the man away, he retaliated by hitting the PA, reported The News Minute.
On the professional front, Sethupathi was last seen in ‘Annabelle Sethupathi’, a horror comedy premiered on Disney+Hotstar. He has a number of films in the offing including 'Kadaisi Vivasayi', 'Vikram' and 'Viduthalai'.
