Anil Kapoor’s daughter and producer Rhea Kapoor is set to tie the knot with longtime boyfriend Karan Boolani on Saturday, according to reports. Rhea’s sister Sonam Kapoor recently travelled back to Mumbai from London where she lives with husband Anand Ahuja.
According to reports, the private ceremony will be a two-three-day affair. But there has been no official confirmation from the Kapoors. Rhea and Karan have been in a relationship for over 10 years. Karan is a filmmaker with over 500 commercials to his name. He has also assisted in films like Sonam-starrer Aisha, produced by Rhea, and Wake Up Sid. Karan also directed Netflix’s sports drama series, Selection Day, based on Arvind Adiga’s novel of the same name.
In a special birthday post last year, Rhea described Karan as her ‘growing up partner’. She wrote, "Happy birthday to my growing up partner, the relief that if I never do anything right in my life again I got the most important thing right, to the reason I got a head start to being myself, truly, the love of my life. 13 years of you is not even close to enough. I feel like we just met and I’ve known you forever. #myman.”
