The first look of Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, directed by Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj was released today. The poster features Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil’s in monochrome close-up shots. The poster was released by Kanagaraj on his Twitter page.

Sharing the first look, the director quoted the lines from a song in Kamal’s 1986 film by the same name. “Yuththathal Adho Adho Vidiyudhu Saththathaal araajagam azhiyudhu raththathaal adho thalai uruludhu sorkangal idho theirudhu thudikkudhu pujam! Jeyipadhu nijam!,” Lokesh tweeted.

The poster comes as a pleasant surprise for the fans of Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh, given their intense look. This is the first time the three actors have come together on screen.

The poster reminds one of Kamal’s 2004 superhit film Virumandi, which featured Kamal, Pasupathi and Napoleon. Its poster, too, had the faces of the three actors.

On April 7, Kanagaraj posted an image on his Twitter page, where he was seen sitting alongside Kamal in a helicopter. Sharing the picture then, he had written, “Aarambikalama”, meaning, ‘can we start’.

Produced by Kamal’s Raj Kamal films International, Vikram is likely to be released in 2022. Anirudh Ravichander is all set to score the music for the film.
