In the wake of reports that suggested that Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK) had issued a warning to Mollywood actor Fahadh Faasil saying he should stop having so many OTT releases if he wants to have his future films released in theatres, the organisation clarified that they have not issued such a diktat. The actor had two OTT release this month—Irul on Netflix, and Joji on Amazon. He had another OTT release—C U Soon—in October.
Refuting such reports, FEUOK, in a statement, said they have seen reports on news channels about FEUOK issuing a warning that films of Fahadh Faasil will not be released in theatres if he continues to have so many OTT releases, and clarified that these are "quite baseless". "The organisation has no issues with Fahadh Faasil or the films he has acted in. The organisation maintains good relations with everyone,” the statement, signed by general secretary of the forum Sumesh Joseph further read.
